Mr. Joshua Moore

Hello!  I'm Mr. Joshua Moore and I am excited to be teaching Earth and Space Science this year at Wylie East!  I am a proud dad to one seven-year-old son, Jack, who is the delight of my life!  I love my son and, parents, I know you love your kids, too.  I want to grow and develop our Raiders to the same standard that I hope my son's educators set for him.  I am highly enthusiastic about science, and I am counting on my enthusiasm being contagious in my classroom.  There are so many incredible things to learn about the systems and processes which govern our universe.  I can't wait to share the wonders of our planet and beyond with our Raiders!  With a positive attitude and a little hard work, we can meet and exceed all of your learning goals!  Let's do this!

  • In Earth and Space Science we will explore the fundamental processes that govern our universe.  We discuss phenomena such as gravity, electromagnetic radiation, nuclear fusion, planetary accretion, radioactive decay, and other, more terrestrial processes such as weathering, erosion, deposition, plate tectonics, volcanism, and various seismic processes.  We will have tons of fun as we learn together!  

    Most communication from me will come through Google Classroom and email, but I am available for phone calls and face-to-face meetings by appointment during my conference period.
