Hi, my name is Jo O'Steen, and I love teaching 6th grade math and advanced math at Harrison Intermediate! In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, country dancing, spending time with my friends and family, and going to coffee shops.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (4-8 grade math/science) and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Gig 'Em, Aggies!! I grew up in Wylie, so being back here to teach is so special and fun for me.

I am far more concerned about my students' growth than their scores. I have high expectations for my classes while realizing that every student learns differently and has different gifts. My goal is to meet my students where they're at as they work hard and give their best!
