Structural foundation work is complete in area H, E, & K and continues at area A with grade beam forms and concrete wall forms. Structural steel has been installed at are H and the slab is scheduled for early March. The crane has been placed at E and structural steel will start in early March followed by steel at area K. Plumbing and Electrical prep work is ongoing at the additions and under the existing buildings. Utility work and concrete pad work has started for the new CTE building (area R).

In the coming weeks we will continue to see progress with the concrete walls at area A, placement of the slab at H, and structural steel at E. Once the slab is placed at H, they will start the fireproofing and wall framing.

All piers have been installed in the main addition and structural foundation work continues with the placement of grade beams and concrete walls. Utility work at the main addition is complete and underground plumbing and electrical work have progressed in the main addition. Electrical work continues inside the main building, at nights, preparing for summer work. Utility work is complete at the scene shop addition and piers have started.

Structural foundation work and concrete walls at the main addition will continue into March. Structural steel deliveries and the crane are scheduled to start arriving very soon with steel deliveries starting in March.

Our second phase of projects for the 2019 Bond consists of additions and renovations at Bush Elementary, Cox Elementary, Watkins Elementary & Harrison Intermediate. These projects were bid on February 27th. The CMR’s are reviewing the bids, verifying coverage and working with the sub-contractors, to generate a final GMP which we should have after Spring Break. Based on budget approval and preliminary schedules we are still planning to start construction this spring.
