Hello! I am Mrs. Farabee. I am on the fabulous "trio" with Mrs. Scott and Miss Nolan. I will be teaching Reading and Social Studies to your 4th grader this year. 

My husband and I have a son named Tristan, who is 4 years old. We also have an Aussiedoodle puppy named Luna. Those two keep us entertained! When we are not playing at home, we enjoy hanging out with our family near by, or traveling to visit family in North Carolina or Wisconsin.  

I have been teaching since 2011.  This is my 13th year of teaching! I taught Kindergarten and 1st Grade for 8 years in Dallas ISD, Allen ISD, and Rockwall ISD before coming to Tibbals in 2019 to teach 4th Grade. Tibbals is such an incredible place to be! I believe learning should be engaging, fun, and challenging for all students.

I look forward to creating a partnership between home and school to ensure each student in my classroom is successful this school year! The most important thing for you to do to support your child at home is to have your child READ, READ, READ! After they have read to themselves, talk to them! Ask them to tell you about their book. It is imperative to read every day outside of school!
