Hi! I'm so excited to get the opportunity to work with your child this year. A little background about my professional experience: I have been a Special Education teacher since graduating from UNT in 2012. I came to Groves as a Special Education resource teacher in 2019, and began teaching Alpha Phonics/Dyslexia in 2021. I received my training as a Dyslexia Therapist through McKinney Christian Academy and obtained my Certified Academic Language Therapist license in May 2023. I love being a Groves Gator and love seeing the students learn and blossom in the Take Flight program. 

My goal each year is to help each of my students use their strengths to overcome their challenges!

On a personal note: My husband and I were married in 2012, and have 3 lively children - Ellery, Colton, and Delaney. We love swimming and having get togethers with family.
