3rd Grade Writing, Science, and Social Studies

I couldn't be more excited to be a Hartman Cool Cat! My daughter and I moved to Wylie just before the 17-18 school year started specifically because of all of the great things we heard about Wylie ISD. I was so impressed with her teachers and schools that I knew this was also where I wanted to teach. I have been in education for 25 years, teaching students from Pre-K through 12th grade and also working on the public relations and technology side as well. The 19-20 school year was my first public school teaching position and I love it so much. My third-grade teacher was my very favorite teacher, so I am super excited to spend my days with the third grade Hartman Cool Cats. I am a part of the awesome Hartman 3rd grade team teaching Reading & Social Studies. Other than teaching, I like listening to all kinds of music, going hiking and backpacking, and cooking yummy things. My 8th grade, math-loving daughter and I like all kinds of crafts and go birdwatching and ride bikes whenever we can.
