Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!  This is my fifth year teaching at Smith Elementary.  I grew up in Kansas and received my B.S. in Accounting at Kansas State University before moving here to Texas.  After years in the business world, I decided to pursue my dream job and earned my teaching certificate.  I absolutely love being in the classroom!  My husband Chris and I have 5 wonderful children and a beautiful granddaughter. 

I am so excited about meeting my new students and starting the new school year.  Inspiring life-long learners is my passion and I know we will achieve great things this year in 1st grade!
