Hi GWB Eagles and families!  My name is Vanessa Garcia and this year will be my 18th year teaching. I have a 12 year old daughter who is my whole world.  In my spare time, I like to read, sing, and craft. I graduated from the University of North Texas.  My major was in Elementary Education and I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have a little dog named Bella.  She's only 5 pounds and she is a spunky little thing. She loves running around in the backyard and you will probably hear me talk about her in class.  I am looking forward to the school year and can't wait to meet you!  It is going to be a great year!
