Howdy! Welcome to my webpage. I am absolutely passionate about what I do. I love teaching! I have been teaching kindergarten for the past 6 years here in Wylie ISD. I taught First Grade a year before that here in Wylie too. Now I'm moving to Second Grade to delve a little deeper into academics and do more writing with my students. Writing is my favorite subject to teach.

I am an Aggie, graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in English. I also attended Texas A&M Commerce where I received my teacher certifications in Bilingual Education grades 1-8, General Education grades 1-8, and Spanish grades 1-8. I also have an Early Childhood Certification in Bilingual Education. I have taught in Dallas ISD, Galveston ISD and Tomball ISD.

I am lucky to have been raised in a home where I grew up speaking Spanish. I was the director of the Spanish-immersion preschool, Spanish Schoolhouse in McKinney from 2009-2012. I love teaching the English side of our Dual Language program. Welcome to a SECOND GRADE, a fantastic time in your child's life.
