Educational Diagnostician

 

I attended Texas Woman's University in Denton and earned my Bachelor's degree in 1997 and Master's degree for Special Education in 2012.  I have teaching certificates for general education and special education.  I also have my certificate for Educational Diagnostician.  I started teaching special education Fall, 1997 in Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD.  In 2000, I taught special education for 1 year in Marshall ISD.

In 2001, I started teaching special education at Wylie High School.  I provided inclusion support and taught resource for three years.  I then worked in the Behavior Unit at Wylie High School until I graduated with my Master's Degree.  In 2013, I started working as an Educational Diagnostician for Wylie ISD.  In the spring of 2022, I resigned as an Education Diagnositician and took a teaching position at Wylie East High School for the Fall of 2022.  

I have been married 28 years and we have three children.  My two older children attended Akin Elementary, Harrison Intermediate, Burnett Junior, and graduated from Wylie East High School.  My youngest child attends Burnett Junior High.
