Welcome to Fourth Grade! I am so excitied to be your  child's Reading, Writing and Social Studies  teacher this year! My partner teacher is Mrs. Esch.  I can’t wait to start building your love for reading & writing. 

This year I will begin my 11th year of teaching. I have taught grades second, third, fourth and fifth.I began my teaching career in Mesquite ISD in 2010 where I taught for 6 years and then transitioned to Wylie  ISD where I taught at Cox for three years.I was awarded the honor of being named Teacher of the Year at Cox for the 2019-2020 school year. This will be my second year as a Biringham Bear. I have my Master's degree in Reading from Texas A&M Commerce. Reading is my Jam! I have a strong passion for growing student's love for reading and writing through my love for reading! I know this year will he #simplytheBESt

I have been married to my husband Joel for a little over two years. We have three fur babies that you will hear so much about. I have two boxers named Nova and Thor and a Cance Corso named Callie. In my free time, I like to spend time with family and friend, craft, read and play with my dogs, and workout.  

I am exicited to begin my second year as a Birmingham Bear! I know it will be #simplytheBESt!

Sweet Tea or Raspberry sweet tea (no sodas) I LOVE COFFEE

Favorite Foods:

Starburst, Jolly Ranchers (no chocolate) , Hot Fries, any type of fruit. Chick-Fil-La,On The Border, Chili’s and Subway are my Favorite restaurants.
