    Whatever your family heritage that adds to the United States of America, you are welcome in this class. Together, we will analyze primary sources, learn from videos, and discover from texts the rich social fabric of tradition and religion, political systems, geographic factors, and economic incentives that contributed to the foundation and growth of the United States from its beginnings through 1877, ending the Reconstruction Era.

    Specific Supplies Needed:

    6 colored folders WITH BRADS (pockets optional):   1 yellow,  1 red,  1 blue,  1 white,  1 green,  1 black

    Earbuds (for chromebooks)

    Google Classroom:

    Most assignments are available via GoogleClassroom. All students are enrolled in this virtual classroom and can access notes, power points, and web links for videos and resources. Students know how to get there and navigate the webtool. 

     
    Online Textbook:
     
    We rarely use the online textbook except for a resource. It is located under "WISD links" on their student Chromebook (top left address bar) or "Student Resources" . Look for "ConnectED".
