Hello from Kindergarten!  I am so excited to be starting my 3rd year teaching Kindergarten at Birmingham!  I also taught 1st grade here for 3 years, and 8 more years in Kindergarten before coming to Birmingham.  I LOVE being with my students and seeing them grow, and I always tell them "once you're mine, you're always mine!"  So it's never a surprise when some of my "big kids" walk into my room for a good morning hug!  

I have been married to my husband, Brad, for almost 24 years, and we have two amazing children.  Tyler graduated from Wylie High School and is now a photographer, and my daughter, Kelsey, will be a Sophomore at Wylie High where she is in the band, JROTC, and archery!  We also have a very spoiled 7 year old Pit Bull mix who loves her stuffed animals.  

Some of my favorite things are watching movies and playing games with my family, reading (grown-up AND kid's books!), and putting together puzzles.  I also love buttons!  I collect them and have all different sizes, shapes, and colors!  

It's going to be such an amazing year at Birmingham because we are #simplytheBESt!
