Hello, I am very excited to begin my 5th year in Wylie ISD as a Birmingham Bear.  This is my 11th year teaching.  I spent my first 8 years teaching 4th grade math and my 2nd year teaching 2nd grade!  Math is my JAM and it's the VERY best subject ever!!  I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce in 2011, GO LIONS!  I've been married for over 32 years to Johnny and have two daughters (Jessica & Aimee) and three grandchildren (Charlotte Michele, Junior, and Miles).  You may see my grandchildren all over the building.  Why?  Well why not?  School is an awesome place to be!

Do you have a lot of energy?  I sure do.  Have you ever eaten at a family-style restaurant?  That's a lot like my teaching style: Everybody all in, all opinions matter, and a lot of educational conversations.  We have a great time in our classroom, but are very hard workers too.  A quiet classroom is a BORING classroom to me.  All of my students are my family now and will always be one of my "kids", no matter if they are in 2nd grade or have moved on.
