This is my 8th year as a biology teacher in Wylie ISD and my 2nd year as a Raider!  My passion for science and love for education led me into the teaching field 15 years ago.  Over the past several years, I have taught Biology, Pre AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and IPC.  My goal as an educator is to instill my love for science into my students, and to challenge them academically in a safe environment.  Beyond academics, I feel that character development is equally important.  I want my students to see mistakes as room to grow and not as failures. 

Outside of the classroom, my interests include spending time with my husband (Cody) and daughter (Kate), reading, attempting Pinterest projects, and serving in my church.  I am a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of ’05 (Whoop!), and spend most fall Saturdays watching college football.
