My name is Maria Isabel Jackson but I go by Mona Jackson.

I grew up in Cali, Colombia in South America. I have an Industrial Engineering Degree from the 'Pontificia Universidad Javeriana' and worked for over 2 years in Pharmaceutical Marketing. I moved to the United States in 2001 when I got married.

I earned my teaching degree and taught in PISD for 8 years. I stayed at home with my 2 boys (Aidan and Ethan) for 6 years; during those years I also was able to sub for different schools in Plano and Wylie.

This is my 6th year in Wylie ISD and my third year at McMillan Junior High and I am very proud to work here! Wylie ISD is an amazing school district and I feel honored to be one of the teachers in the district!
