Welcome to Mrs. Merton's math class! My name is Melanie Merton.  I am originally from Austin, TX but have called Wylie home since 2006.  I am a proud wife,  mom to 2 boys, Charlie (13) and William (8) and the sweetest dog ever, Bear.  I have a degree in elementary education from Texas Tech University and a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from A&M Commerce.  This is my 21st year in education and my 7th year here at George W. Bush Elementary. I have a passion for education and love helping students of all ages and abilities find their love of math.  Every day is a great day to learn something new!
