I have 17 years of criminal justice work experience and this is my 21st year teaching criminal justice. I am the Career and Technical Education Department Lead at Wylie East High School. I am also the SkillsUSA Chapter advisor and the National Technical Honor Society chapter advisor. I have a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Science in Training and Development from Texas A&M University - Commerce. While every student I have taught has not gone into the public safety field, I do believe my students take with them the knowledge of their rights and responsibilities to become a good citizen. I believe in advocating for my students and promoting all the certifications I can for them to create a portfolio they can use immediately on graduation. I am an Eagle Scout. I have been married to my wife for 23 years and have three daughters and one son.
