Welcome to music at Groves Elementary!  In music class, we incorporate the Orff and Kodaly teaching methods to learn about music.  We use folk songs, folk dances, and creative movement to learn about musical concepts.  We also learn how to read music, create music, learn about music vocabulary and terms, and play music on different instruments.  Learning about different cultures and time periods helps us learn about great composers, performers, and how music relates to everyone across our world.
