Hello! My name is Kristie Gurski. I have 6 years experience serving in the special needs ministry at my church. I also volunteered once a month at the "Kids Day Out" respite service that we provided for parents in the community. I majored in Music Education at Southern Methodist University, however changed routes upon graduation to pursue a career in Special Education. My passion for this population grew during my 4 years as a Paraprofessional at McMillan Junior High in Wylie ISD. As I gained experience in the educational setting, I decided to pursue my certification in order to become a teacher. I have now been the FASE teacher at Tibbals Elementary for 4 years and am so excited to continue to do what I love and help studentes grow. Welcome to Ms. Kristie's classroom!
