We are excited to announce the launch of the Wylie ISD Mobile App! This district app is the “one stop shop” for Wylie ISD parents. With the app, you can access student information – like grades, attendance and lunch balances. The app also features bus routes, lunch menus, sports schedules, Peachjar flyers, school directory information, and so much more!
You can download the Wylie ISD app today! Search for “Wylie ISD” in either the App Store or Google Play Store, or click on one of the icons below.
All Wylie ISD parents will receive an email with their username and a temporary password for the system. Upon your first login, you will be prompted to change the password. For your convenience, we recommend using the same password that you use for Skyward Family Access (although you are free to create any password you would like).
Signing in is not required to use the app or customize the app. It does however grant you access to your student's data.
Skyward, the Wylie ISD website, Canvas, Google Classroom, Seesaw...what does it all mean? What does it do and how can it help me stay better informed about my student and what is going on in the classroom? These answers and more are available on our new page Tech Help for Parents.
If you need to access this page in the future, it is always available on the Parents & Students homepage.
Please drop off students in the back….and not the front…..the same goes for pick up. These are designated areas for that process. We understand the desire to be quick and I wish I had an answer to that part of the waiting but there is no grand solution that we can find. The front of the building is designated for staff and visitors along with delivery.
In the afternoon for student release we will now close off the student entrance and exit at the bus loop until the buses are released. We have seven new buses in our plan this year and there was a need to have a place to stage them. Students/parents will not have access to this entrance off of 544 from the beginning of 8th period (3:30 p.m.) until the buses clear the area after school (usually about 4:40 p.m.).
Student parking/event parking is the next drive and it will take you to the back parking lot. This is also for parent drop off and pick up. Please do not stop in the drive; continue all the way to the back parking lot.
The AHMO Appreciation Team is looking for members. We are a group of parents who show our appreciation to the faculty and staff of WHS throughout the year - usually in the form of edible treats of sorts. If you are interested in being a part of this group, please e-mail either Shawn Switzer at email@example.com or Lynn Kendall at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to hearing from you!
