Our Mission
The mission of Wylie ISD's Instructional Technology Dept. is to empower educators to effectively integrate technology to enhance curriculum, improve instruction, and prepare our students for life in the new millennium.

Instructional Technology

Wylie ISD has been blessed with Technology Instructional Mentors to assist teachers with the integration of technology into instruction.  Some of their duties: 

Brainstorming of ideas and methods of teaching concepts using technology Provide technology training/tutorials for one-on-one and/or small and large groups Assist teachers in modeling lessons or in the lab Minor trouble-shooting Facilitate videoconferencing on the campus level Assist teachers in locating topical/research web sites and web quests
