Thank you voters!

Thank you to the 4,000 plus voters who took the time to participate in Tuesday's bond referendum. Although only one of the three proposals was approved, the support of Proposition #2 will be significant to many students. The $24.9 M authorized by the voters will positively impact those attending Akin Elementary, Birmingham Elementary, Hartman Elementary, Harrison Intermediate, Burnett Junior High School, and the Achieve Academy.

Collin County has a long history of supporting education, and despite difficult economic times, Wylie has shown that it supports children and academic excellence through the passage of this proposition. It will fill an important need.
