WISD staff collects more than $7,000 for Care Center

Dr. Fuller presents donation to Raymond Cooper

As thousands of cans and boxes of food items pour in from WISD campuses, the staff members of the district have donated more than $7,000 in cash to the Wylie Christian Care Center in honor of the center’s yearly fall food and funds drive.  Superintendent H. John Fuller presented the funds to Raymond Cooper at the annual kick-off luncheon on Tuesday at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.  The annual drive for the center is the school system’s only districtwide community service project each year.
