WHS senior merits private meeting with Condoleeza Rice

Wylie High School senior Roza Essaw recently interviewed for a prestigious Hunt Scholarship at SMU (which she was awarded) and impressed Mrs. Hunt so much, she arranged for Roza to have a private meeting with former U.S. National Security Advisor and Secretary of State, Dr. Condoleeza Rice.   

Roza had identified Dr. Rice as someone who has inspired her.  Principal Gary Brown had the opportunity to take Roza to the SMU campus for this private meeting, where the two of them had several minutes to visit and compare notes.  He said that "Roza held her own" during the discussion!
