March 5 is a TAKS testing date

WISD will administer the first round of testing in the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills to several grade levels on Wednesday, March 5.  Grades 3, 5 and 8 will be tested in Reading, grades 4 and 7 in Writing and grades 9 and 10 in Reading and English/Language Arts.  Students in grades 11 and 12 will also participate in Exit Level TAKS testing in Reading/ELA, fulfilling a required element for graduation by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
