Education foundation accepting scholarship applications

Just a reminder to all WISD seniors it’s time to begin completing applications for the various 2008 foundation scholarships. Two scholarships of $2,000 are available through the Tibbals College Scholarship; two scholarships of $5,500 each are available through the Carroll/Garrison Scholarship; a $1,000 scholarship is available through the Bill F. and Mary Davis Scholarship; and $1,000 is available for one student through the Matt Love Memorial Scholarship. The amount of the Donnie Worthington Memorial Scholarship has not been announced because donations are still being made. March 10 is the deadline to return applications to the counselor's office at WHS for all of these scholarships.
