The Wylie ISD Education Foundation, Inc. announced recently that PBK Architects, Inc has donated $10,000 for the 5th Annual Boots ‘n Barbecue Gala and is the first business to step forward as a Presenting Sponsor.
Boot ‘n Barbecue is one of the largest fundraising events for the education foundation and has netted more than $345,000 since its inception in 2003. Monies are used by the foundation for grants to Wylie ISD educators.
“We believe in the foundation and all it does for the staff and students of Wylie ISD,” said PBK Principal Bob Graham. “It is important, as leaders, to continually support it and we encourage other businesses to join us.”
The latest donation brings PBK’s endowment to more than $30,000. It is the third year that PBK has participated in the gala at the Presenting Sponsor level.
