Billy Whitman Memorial Scholarship night at El Chicos

The Billy Whitman Memorial Scholarship Committee continues to raise funds for scholarships that will be presented at the end of the school year to a Wylie senior student and a McKinney senior. Billy Whitman was a teacher and offensive coordinator for the Wylie Pirates for six years. He had a profound impact on students here and in McKinney where he also coached. 

Once again, the committee is teaming up with the McKinney El Chicos Restaurant from 5 to 10 p.m. on the evenings of October 1, October 8, October 15, October 29 and November 5.  Patrons may have a portion of their check donated to the scholarship fund on those nights by simply mentioning the Billy Whitman Memorial Scholarship.
