WELCOME TO CHOIR!
Description of Choirs | Objectives | Uniforms

Welcome to one of the most exciting and rewarding experiences our schools have to offer…..CHOIR!!!!!  There are several individuals who have benefited from being involved in choir and several who have chosen rewarding careers in this field.  So, take a moment and ask yourself, “Why should I be in choir?”

Recent statistics prove that young people who participate in music are among the academically strongest in their schools.  They also have higher SAT score averages than their fellow classmates do.  Their adult lives are filled with the successes, which are a direct result of their choir experience: self-discipline, group cooperation, high self-esteem, understanding teamwork, developing a sense of persistence and performance confidence.  Choir can provide this foundation for every student.

We have an exciting and challenging year ahead for choir students.  Performances, in school, community and contest as well as festivals are only a few of the events that will keep you actively involved in our program.  I hope that each one of you will take every opportunity to experience success and growth this year.

Finally, thank you for sharing your pride, talent and musical gifts.  Your support and dedication to our choral program is greatly appreciated.  Please accept my best wishes for a happy and successful school year!!
