Miss Emily Gilmore Wins Silver

Please join me in congratulating Miss Emily Gilmore on her tremendous success at the SkillsUSA Texas State Competitions.  Emily placed 2nd and received a silver medal and nifty trophy for her outstanding performance.  During the competition she baked a delicious lattice top apple pie (which we got to eat afterwards!), baked a loaf of bread, made cloverleaf rolls and decorated a cake.  She competed against 9 other skilled young bakers from around the state and represented WHS very well.
