Summer School Information

           WHS summer school will be offered this summer as routine.  The dates for the summer school session are from June 9th to July 3rd.  There will be two sessions of classes each day Monday through Friday.  First session is from 7:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and the second from 12:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.  It is possible for students to take both sessions if the schedule can be matched up to their needs.  All core courses including Spanish will be offered for students who have failed the courses.  For the first time, students will be allowed to take comm/apps and health if they would like to accelerate their schedule to make room for electives and other needs for the coming school year.  Lists are being compiled presently and letters will go out soon to parents of students who are failing or in danger of failing core subjects for consideration of summer school.  If you have any questions, please contact your student's counselor or Mr. Montgomery for more information.  Mr. Montgomery can be reached at 972.429.3132 or emailed at virdie.montgomery@wylieisd.net.  Each class will cost $175 with half of payment due by Friday, June 6th and the remainder on the day of enrollment.  WHS continues to offer this service to students in order for them to recover from failing courses and to better prepare them for success at our school.
