Cindy Strode |
|
Cindy Strode graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education degree in Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She has been in education for 25 years. Her 19 years of counseling have been at the elementary, middle and high school level as well as community college and university level. She has been married to her husband Tom for 24 years and they have two daughters. |

Doug Fortenberry—Lead Counselor |

In his 12th year in Education, Doug Fortenberry has spent the last six years at Wylie High School. He received his BA in Communications from the University of Texas at the Permian Basin in 1991. After a three year stint as a marketing director, he began pursuing his teaching certificate at Angelo State University in 1994. After completion of his certification classes he continued on at Angelo State, where he worked as a graduate assistant in the education department until the fall of 1997. He received his M.Ed. in guidance and counseling from ASU in 1998. Doug has worked at all levels as a classroom teacher, teaching journalism, speech, theatre, and special education. Doug is married to his wife Charlotte, and they have a one son, who is currently a sophomore at WHS. |

Katie Duran |
|
Katie has worked in education for six years. She taught high school special education for four years and is currently in her second year as a high school counselor. Katie received her BS in Journalism from Texas A&M University in 2002, and received her MA in counseling from Amberton University in 2007. She and her husband Marco have two kids. |

Anna Moreno |

Terri Christensen has worked in education for 18 years. Fourteen years have been in high school, teaching child development and other Family and Consumer Science classes. Mrs. Christensen has a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s Degrees in School Counseling from Amberton University. She and her husband Tim have three sons and one daughter. |
