We see our students analyzing, comparing, and sequencing text as they represent information in graphic organizers, Venn diagrams, webs, flowcharts, BME boxes, and summaries.

We see our students documenting their understanding and comprehension of text as they express themselves in written sentences and as they answer multiple choice tests.

We see students writing and evaluating their writings using the six traits rubric. 

We see teachers meeting with small guided reading groups 3X a week.

We see teachers guiding students to think about the author’s purpose and the reason for the writings.

We see teachers pointing our elements of the six traits writing within the text we are reading. 

We see teachers having students point out explicit words in the text that helped the reader infer meaning.
