Information on Free or Reduced Priced Meals

Dear Parents,

The Wylie ISD serves meals each school day. Students may buy lunch for $1.90 (Elementary & Intermediate), $2.00 (Junior High), or $2.25 (High School). Adult lunch at all campuses is $2.75. Breakfasts cost 90 cents for students and $1.75 for adults. Students may also get meals free or at a reduced price. Meal tickets may be purchased before school in the lunchroom.

If you now get food stamps or TANF for your children, your children can get free meals. If your total household income is the same or less than the amounts on the Income Chart on the application, your children can get free or reduced-price meals. A foster child may get free or reduced-price meals regardless of your income. The reduced price is 40 cents for lunch and 30 cents for breakfast.

To get free or reduced-price meals for your children, you must complete an application and send it to your child's school.
