Welcome to Draper Intermediate School!  Draper is one of three middle schools within the Wylie Independent School District in Wylie, Texas.  Our campus consists of 5th and 6th grade students with a projected enrollment of 680 this coming school year.  Our outstanding teaching staff, along with parents, and community work together to provide a positive school environment in which students can achieve success in all areas: academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.  We encourage parents to take advantage of opportunities to become actively involved with our campus to ensure our student's growing success.

It is our hope that this website will help to provide communication from school to home.  Please visit our website often for updated changes. We look forward to a great year and working with our families in the best interest of our students.

Reminders

• Attention Families

  Please understand for the safety of our students, a student will not be released until you show your picture ID.

  This applies anytime you check out a student during the school day for any reason.  (including:  illness, doctor appointments, family business, or any other reasons)
   

• Drop off and Pick up procedures...

  We have noticed an increase of parents dropping off/picking up their child in the front parking lot and on the side streets creating a major safety hazard.
  
  Students may not be dropped off or picked up in the parking lot or on the side streets.
  
  If you do not want to wait in the designated pick up line against the front curb you are required to park in a designated parking spot in the front lot and walk with your child to the front door of the building.
  
  In the afternoons your child must wait on the front sidewalk until you either drive up in the pick up line or park your car in a designated parking spot and walk up to the sidewalk to accompany your child across the street.
